Ten Dollars for your Time!

One of my fellow bloggers, Mike Laverick, just sent me a heart-warming email today. If you are a VMware SRM customer and complete this survey, VMware will donate $10 to Unicef for the first 1000 survey responses. While I could ramble on how this is good for SRM product development based on customer feedback, I’m more encouraged about the potential to donate to one of the world’s premier charities. And oh yeah, you’ll get a PDF download of Mike’s SRM book. Word on the street is that the guy knows a thing or two about the product.

image Mike doesn’t know I’m using his graceful image here in my website, but I think he’d be okay with it! Below is an excerpt from the VMware Communities post announcing the survey:

Hello SRM users,

The VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager (SRM) product team is looking for product feedback on SRM deployments. If you have purchased SRM, we would like to hear from you. Your participation will be very valuable to us and the information you provide will be used to improve the SRM product going forward.

The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes and will expire on June 10, 2010. Please note that this survey is for SRM customers only.
