Good news in the bad: Diesel less than unleaded

I’ve noticed something recently that *MAY* be a sign of some correction in the gasoline prices. In most stores in my market, I’ve noticed now that unleaded is less expensive than diesel fuel. This is important. First of all, in “normal” times; diesel is less expensive than unleaded and of course due to the transportation backbone of the US we need diesel at the lowest possible price.

How long will this last? I don’t know. But, I think if we have a mild hurricane season this fall we’ll see some price relief. Of course the election will mysteriously deflate pump prices also.

We’ll see sub $2.oo per gallon fuel again!
