VMworld 2011 Session Voting Now Open!

Like many other virtualization professionals around the world, I am anxiously awaiting the annual VMworld series of conferences. Public session voting is now open, which will be a good way to deliver content that the community wants.

Looking through these sessions, I have one reaction: WOW. What a strong submission base to choose from!

I have never presented at VMworld, though I have presented at a Gartner event, TechMentor, TechRepublic LIVE, and a number of other topics. This year, I’ve decided to give it a shot.  My two sessions are:

2245 Advanced vSphere Lab Configuration, Tips and Tricks
Rick Vanover, Software Strategy Specialist, Veeam Software
Elias Khnaser, Director, Virtualization Practice, Artemis Technology

3258 Rethinking Storage Virtualization: Its Fundamental Role in Data Center Transformation
Elias Khnaser, Director, Virtualization Practice, Artemis Technology
Rick Vanover, Software Strategy Specialist, Veeam Software
Jason Boche, VMware Virtualization Evangelist and VMware vExpert, boche.net
Michael Heffernan, Global Product Manager, Server Virtualization, Hitachi Data Systems

In both situations, I’ve teamed up with excellent people to deliver what I think to be the best possible session. At the show, people’s time is valuable; and these sessions need to be right to the point.

Check out the sessions and vote for your choices!
